WHO'S YOUR PAPA.
Apparently, the Gods decided that the festivities were over, and let Winter be present again. Snow storms had been a common thing the last couple of days. At least today it was a cloudy morning, yet no snow had fallen at all.
His wife was at the tea house, as she usually did after breakfast. As much as he loved her with all his heart... well, girl chat was not his thing.
...oh dear, he WAS sounding like a married man.
Battler shook his head, with a half embarrassed smile on his face. At least he had gotten what he was looking for. It had taken a small, awkward exchange with the Librarian, but he got a mystery novel he hadn't read at all.
Old habits die hard, they say. He had to admit he was excited as a child on Christmas with the idea of spending time with Beato while they both read the novel, trying to discover the truth before the end. Those were his thoughts as he walked on the snow (as SLOW as he could, mind you) back to the tea house.

What's the last thing you remember before coming here?

[HE DOESN'T REALLY KNOW BECAUSE THE MUN SUCKS ASS AND CAN'T DECIDE.][Battler smiles slightly, but a bit absent, as if he was seeing the scene again before his eyes.]
I had to meet someone before it was too late. I remember talking to that person in the Chapel.

*PATS*]I see... [Then, he smiles warmly for the first time. But it's strange, as if he was truly glad to be killed by him.]
Promise me something.

[His golden sword appears from nowhere, it glows brightly against the snowy night.]

I want you to promise me that you will save her. Show her the salvation that I couldn't reach... [He pauses, standing up and crackling.] No, that's not quite right! Perhaps, in this way, I can forgive myself!
[Laughs happily as he opens his arms.]
Come, Ushiromiya Baaaaattleeeeeeerrrrr!

[[Cuts the air, attacking Beato!]]

[Jumping to where Battler is.]

Agh!
[Blood scattered in the floor as the sorcerer step back. Why was he still doing this? Part of him already knew the answer. This was a love trial, as he said before. He would do anything for her as well, so it was only expected that this happened.]
Done for now :B

Was this your trial? To die for the one you love...?
[Raises his sword, ready for the last attack.]
no subject
Was it? I never said anything of a trial. [Crackleâ–¬coughbloodâ–¬crackle.]
I love you, Ushiromiya Battler.
[He said as if he was speaking to someone somewhere.]
Free me for my guilty heart!

[Lets his sword pierce his chest... and then, silence.]

T-This is the way... it s-should have... been...
[With a warm smile, he started falling back to the floor.]

BEATRICEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SUP BATTLINE.
Swings his sword, blood dropplets falling on the snow... but doesn't look up.]
HELLO THERE, PENIS BATTLER.
Beato... YOU BIG DAMN ASSHOLE! [CRYING, OKAY?]
[Okay, some minutes later after she calms down a bit, and notices this wasn't a really suicide, she turns to see Battler. Braindamage can happen latter.]
Why did you kill my husband?!

[His eyes are cold, sword still in hand. The golden glow faintly illuminates his face, giving him an eerie look.]
He waited for death by my hand-- no, by yours.

AXEsword as well. Her face is really cold as well.]Who are you?! I will never forgive you for hurting my beloved idiot!

Such a wonderful event! Ushiromiya Battler, you both pass the first trial!
no subject
[Says nothing. He can't get the bitter aftertaste to disappear.
It's all useless, he won't be giving them that small triumph.
Battler just turns around and starts walking away, his sword vaninshing in the winter air.]
no subject
Thank you very much for coming today~!
[Bows and dissapear in the golden butterfiles. Battler will just try to calm down and find a way to revive Beato.]

Look for the one named Remm. He is the only one who can help you bargain for his life.
