WHO'S YOUR PAPA.
Apparently, the Gods decided that the festivities were over, and let Winter be present again. Snow storms had been a common thing the last couple of days. At least today it was a cloudy morning, yet no snow had fallen at all.
His wife was at the tea house, as she usually did after breakfast. As much as he loved her with all his heart... well, girl chat was not his thing.
...oh dear, he WAS sounding like a married man.
Battler shook his head, with a half embarrassed smile on his face. At least he had gotten what he was looking for. It had taken a small, awkward exchange with the Librarian, but he got a mystery novel he hadn't read at all.
Old habits die hard, they say. He had to admit he was excited as a child on Christmas with the idea of spending time with Beato while they both read the novel, trying to discover the truth before the end. Those were his thoughts as he walked on the snow (as SLOW as he could, mind you) back to the tea house.

*must read ep6 again =|*
[Shakes his head...]
You've travelled a lot just to say that, Lion. That miracle will make her happy some day... [And smiles slightly, half lookst a Will.] And I intend to help with that, even though you already have a bodyguard.
*SHOULD READ IT FOR THE FIRST TIME* LET'S READ IT TOGETHER OR SOMETHING.
W-what's up with you two, stop staring at each other with murderous faces, I had enough murder for a lifetime or two! D:] That would be Will...
[Get back on track, Lion!] Thank you. I'm sure Beatrice really appreciates how much you care for her... I know I do.
[Just wanted to let you know I see ur attoningthingie and I think it is kinda nice from you. kthxbye.]
OKAY, WE SHOULD LOOK FOR IT IN YOUTUBE LATER.
But enough with that, I would also like to know my cousin.
I WOULD BUT NO WORKTUBE, SO UH, EITHER LATER OR YOU DO IT XD
I'd like that. There isn't that much to know about me, but we can still do some catching up.

We're trapped in here. Some know more than the others, but we're all trapped.

Do you know how or why people are brought here? [You look well informed, cousin, make my day please.]

[Ah...!]
But I can tell you how this place works. There are ranks among us here in the city... first, the Pawns. Think of them as Pieces in a game. Then, the Branded. They keep things working around here, one way or another. After them we have the Observers... they are the Messengers' proxys, the ones who play with us in the name of their Masters [Half, bitter smile...]
The Messengers are the ones below the Gods, but I don't know anything more than that.

So... Does this mean we are safe from outside influences? Only the Observers will play around with us, right?

I suppose, in your case. Not exactly the second chance one would ask for.

Any second chance is better than no second chance at all. Even if I may be trapped here, and even if I know I will face many hardships, I will do my best to be happy.
