Why am I doing this again? D:

He was supposed to be dead.

He was pretty sure of it, he had gone to Terra, he had seen the Betas living their normal lives and he had decided to ask Trigger to stop the System.

He had died shortly after that, as he couldn't live that long outside of Elysium.

So why was he here? Why wasn't he in the middle of a coughing fit and about to fall over dead again?

...

And why were there zombies all around?

[And back to walking they are, closing in to San Miguel... The solar tree is in the way so... :D]

[He can't hear any other sounds besides his and his Master's steps, so he has been relaxing visibly the more they approach San Miguel. He immediately looks at the Piledriver when they walk past it, but his attention is now on the ~~bigass~~ enormous tree near the entrance.]

[He sees the tree and smiles a little.] See? I told you we would find food.

[You probably remember the stories Yuna told you about a time when Master was more like this and less emo as he was when you saw him the most...]

I should trust you more... thank you.

[He noticed the change. He doesn't know if that change is a good or a bad thing, but he can almost see the smiles they shared when he was little, so he chooses not to say anything.

Seeing the Mster smile and laugh may be a ~~creepy~~ rare sight, but he likes it.]

[He looks up at the tree...] When I was a child I loved climbing trees...

They looked just as tall as this one, of course that was only because I was much shorter, but still...

I can't imagine you climbing trees, Master...

[Laughs.] Well, I wasn't born 3000 years old, you know?

Not that I can climb that much with these clothes anyway...

...Would you like to climb? I can find more comfortable clothes for you!

[Laughs softly.] We can do it another time, you are hungry and tired, and I could use some rest myself.

Let's see if there is some fruit we can reach, and then let's go into the city.

I'll do it!

[Reaches... ah, there. He gives the fruit to the Master, with a smile.]

[Smiles too.] Thank you... Now come here, let's sit for a moment, we can share it.
