THE SETTING :D

BIZARRONIA

The setting, because you know you want it.

Welcome to this place we have lovingly named Bizarronia.

You may feel curious about this place, you may be wondering why we have created this, when we have over 9000 museboxes, and the answer is simple.

Because We Can

Yes, that's pretty much the whole reason.

THE SETTING

Bizarronia is a land of wonders. Anything can happen, all doors take to other places and all windows show the other side. The sky changes colors as the day goes on, the vampires get roasted in the day (or sometimes they sparkle), and most things are completely as normal.

It pretty much looks like a retro city, with stone houses and all the works (feel free to look up San Miguel (wait I just gave a link...) to see how the town works, however many doors and windows take to places that are not related at all with the mentioned San Miguel or the game where it comes from, including but not limited to other cities, big blank spaces, outer space, places with no plot or sense, and the best of all... Wherever you want to!

Please keep in mind that Bizarronia has some very VERY whimsical gods. And they like being silly, playing around and sticking characters in the city in order to get them to work at stores, or provide services. Those will be pretty much "npcs", and can be found at their places most of the time. They are partially aware of the workings of Bizarronia and the gods... but they won't always be helpful.

Of course, most characters do not approve.

EDIT: Courtesy of [livejournal.com profile] bookworm_e we now have a MAP of the city or at least how it looks right now.

THE STOREKEEPERS

Sora, the Coffin Storekeeper: Also known as Dark Sora, Sora has been kidnapped after meeting Auk and starting his way into getting fixed, so he will help and pretend he doesn't care about you. He's currently providing services selling coffins in a clone of the Boktai coffin store. Yes. That means he can now go "It looks like coffins like you" at others.

Attis, the Librarian: Kidnapped from before he started getting really fixed (or at least what we believe was getting fixed), Attis remembers exactly where each book is and what they say. He likes blood, dark rituals, reading, sacrificing goats, and being emo. Currently dressing as a Priest, in all black.

Millenniumon, the Loans Girl Guy God: Also known as DooMille, he's acting as Doomy from Dark Loans (See boktai). If you are broke, he will lend you money, and then RUIN YOUR LIFE IN EXCHANGE. He hates everyone but Ryo, and there is only one of him in all dimensions. Currently dressed in wa-lolita.

Daisuke and Ken, Innkeepers: They keep the inn, one cooks, while the other takes care of about everything else. Wormmon and Veemon are maids. Yeah, really.

Arai, Doctor: The popular and loved Soramommy is back, and she has a clinic now. You should be afraid, very afraid (actually, that's just drama, she's adorable, and if you are hurt, she'll totally fix your ass up).

Fortuna, FortuneTeller: She usually lurks at the inn, is the in-KH-AU daughter of Isa and Lea's sister, and she was stolen before daddy's nobody KILLED HER DED. She's awesome at seeing the future in weirdo cryptic ways. Zazie does not approve of having her spot stolen.

Master Guardian Auk Sti, Spiritual Guide, Teahouse owner, Therapist, Grandma: I JUST WANTED TO GET GRANDMA INTO THIS PLOT, I WANT HER TO MEET ARAI, OK? Plus she can help everyone to get fixed or not. And now she has Tea.

Samm and Remm, Terrenials of Death and Dreams: Death and the Demon of Dreams have been chibified and now are Terrenials. Don't ask. Just don't ask.

WHERE TO GO

San Miguel: San Miguel is our main town. There you can find the Inn, the Library, the Weaponsmith, the Item and Armor shops, the Clock Tower, the Coffin shop, and probably several other places you feel like finding. There are no zombies inside town.

The Messageboard: Can be found in the inn, it is good for leaving any kind of announcements... Kindly link in the comment to any related entries it may have for better access.

The Piledriver and the Earth Tree: To the north of San Miguel you can find the Earth Tree, which is a magical tree that keeps San Miguel safe from the undeadening. It is also pretty and likes dropping items. Further north there is the Piledriver, which can be used to purify Immortals, not that you get it. Let's say there is a big MAGICAL SEAL in the ground. Just lurking there.

The Cathedral: Northwest and close to the town there is a HUGE abandoned Cathedral. Father Sun was worshiped in there in the good old times. Sometimes sunflowers appear in the altar as offerings, still filled with undead.

The Dark City: The Dark City is an abandoned town northeast filled with small places to get in, various monsters, and no people at all. People just love appearing there.

The Waterway: Yeah, there is a waterway. It has... water. And uh. Water based monsters. And uh... nothing else.

The Desert and the Ruins: More dungeoning action can be had here. The desert... is hot as hell and people die of thirst. Also, it's filled with undead.

The Endless Forest: Appearing out of nowhere overnight, the forest is, as its name implies, endless. The enormous trees and the broad leaves make it hard for the sunlight to break through, making walking in there in the night nearly impossible. (The seriousness of this description shows that Tsu wrote it.)

The Teahouse: As being a Master Guardian is slightly useless in this place and she really wants something to do with her free time, Auk has just made a bargain with the Gods to get a Teahouse. You can have tea, therapy, and even see the yandere waiter.

Whatever you want to!: Moving further South, will take you to RANDOMLAND! Yes, the plot doesn't talk much about going south, so nobody really knows what can happen if you go there. So go explore! You may find a pathway to some weird places!!

THE CLASSES

The Gods thought it would be easier to do nothing if the visitors were marked with different classes. Of course no Pawns are aware of these classes as they arrive, but there are some rumours that you can go up a class if the Gods take an interest in you...

After all they are whimsical things, and who am I to say they are wrong?

Messenger: These are the only ones that have had any contact with the Gods. That means they know too much, so they won't be appearing a lot, except to be jerks to everyone.

Observer: These ones can communicate directly with the messengers and they are aware of the Gods and of their plans partially. They also like making events, or being even more jerkasses than the Messengers, as they are in direct contact with the lower classes most of the time.

Branded: The Branded are pretty much the service providers and the ones that make the place work. They are in close contact with how Bizarronia works, and are the ones that work the most with the lowest class.

And yes, to have a character in any of those classes, you have to talk to the modlike things, because of plot reasons. When the hell did this place gain a plot anyway??

Pawn: Besides getting the most awesome name ever, the Pawns are those that have recently arrived. If someone seems lost, scared or in denial, then he's most likely a new Pawn. If someone seems comfortable... Then there are also chances that he's a Pawn. You can show off your Pawn Pride with this code in your profile:
