Event start!
Night falls over the land.
Silent are the cries and moans of the undead, silent are the crickets and even the wind. Silent is the soft lull of the Solar Tree and the noises of the nocturnal creatures.
Silence falls over the land.
The ones that have been here for longer close the windows and doors, for they know that something is approaching.
During the night, the strings are attached. The Puppeteer gets a hold of each heart, of each will, and slowly, with artful fingers and mind, assigns each a new role.
Something changes in those of the lower Classes, however that is only the beginning.
Boys and girls, here it is!
In case you don't quite get the rules, here they are:
1 - All characters will be assigned a new Role at random by the Puppet Master. It's the player's duty to determine a backstory for that Role, bonus points if it looks and feels a lot like the original backstory.
2 - The character should not notice the difference in their personality or role, unless the character is deeply acquainted with the workings of the heart and soul (and I mean REALLY DEEPLY).
3 - If you believe your character should notice something, feel free to ping the Kaimod, and she'll be GLAD to plot with you and your character.
4 - You should adapt the existing relationships of your character to fit the new role he or she or it has been given, however feel free to create new relationships and pretend they were always there! You can use this post to enter any offerings or request new friends.
5 - If you feel like entering a new character into the DR while the event is in effect, feel free to make a normal intro, however after the next night, the character will also be evented, and a new role will be assigned.
6 - The Event will last for as long as we feel it is fun, so this may take a while.
7 - This will all end up with a huge monster invasion in the city and an awesome final bossfight against an ugly monster. WHILE EVERYONE IS STILL IN THEIR BIZARRE ROLES, so get used to them. Best bossfight ever.
7.5 - As I am doing the bossfight, videos are totally allowed.
Once the event is finished, something important about the metaplot for the world will be revealed to all players.
After that, anything can happen, so please keep an eye open!
The event will start tomorrow, on Sunday, so get ready to get a new life, boys and girls!
